ERM are delighted to share the news that we have been awarded a grant from the National Lottery Heritage Fund and National Lottery Players to enable and inquiry into the heritage of the Victorian obsession with the unusual. From The Cottingley Fairies photographs to Victorian sideshow performances, to seances and attempts to contact 'the other side'.
There will be no occult activities, just a look at the memorabilia, history, heritage and re-enactments of performances and an investigation into today's unusual obsessions and fake artefacts.
Join us as we take the project to Watton, Diss and Harleston amongst other Norfolk pleaces and discover the stories of Phantasms and Strangeness.
