Supported by the National Lottery Community Fund this entertaining project aims to bring the Bowthorpe community together to celebrate the good things about the Wild West. Residents at Bowthorpe Care Village have been watching westerns and talking about the stars and their favourite films. We have a series of activities still to come:
April - Recreating a saloon bar. A night in Western inspired bar with actors creating shoot outs and other wild west scenes see photos - Film screening.
May - Recreating a cook out with Brownies and Cubs creating the food. Actors on hand to get everyone involved. Film Screening.
June - Animals of the Wild West. Interact with raccoons, and other varmints
July - Celebration day, line dancing, country music, food, activities etc
