This Baring Foundation and Creative Arts East project involved ERM mixing residents of Robert Kett Housing with Care unit and local Junior School, also called Robert Kett!
The groups met several times and the young people really got to know the older residents.
They discussed going to the pictures, film stars of today and of the past. Recollections of heart-throbs brought the older people to life!
The young people introduced some residents to the art of animation! A sequence of still photographs are brought to life through animation. Clara's photographs from 1942.
We had many comments on the positive side of such work and the rewards of intergenerational work are to be seen in this short film.
