Celebrating Diss Picture House
2023 marks 50 years since the closure of the Picture House in Diss, South Norfolk, UK.
Basil Abbot of Diss Museum organised a Film Star Parade to mark the occasion.
Over 50 Stars appeared and marched up Mere Street to the Museum in the Market place.
Denis Clarke, 97, recites from memory a rhyme about a Top Hat and recalls the Silent film days.
I spoke with Margaret Kemp about her memories of the Picture House.
